Summer 2025 Newsletter
Dear Members,
We’re just getting started with Summer 2025, but before we really kick things off, please take note of a few important housekeeping reminders and updates:
Access and Facilities
- Key fob access is required to enter the gate during and after club hours.
- Members may use the workout room, tennis courts, and pickleball courts outside of regular club hours.
- The pool closes when the club closes to help us maintain proper chemical levels and ensure cleanliness all summer long.
- If you do not yet have a key fob, please contact the office, and we’ll have one ready for your next visit.
Check-In and Guest Policy
- All members must sign in with their name and membership number upon entry.
- Guests are welcome, but each family is limited to five guests per day. A $10 fee per guest is required and can be paid in cash at the front desk or via Venmo.
- If you are carrying an ice chest or insulated bag, the manager or gatekeeper will inspect its contents.
- You may bring in food, water, and empty cups.
- All other beverages are prohibited, and glass of any kind (except sunglasses) is not allowed. Violations are subject to a $100 fine for safety reasons.
Children & After-Hours Access
- During regular club hours, children 10 years and older may use the club without an adult, but they must have a key fob.
- After hours, no one under 18 is permitted on club grounds without adult supervision.
- We maintain a 24/7 security system to ensure the safety of all members and staff.
Parking Reminder
Please be sure to PARK LEGALLY and COURTEOUSLY when visiting Lakeside Country Club. Although the summer season is just beginning, we have already received complaints from neighbors about illegal and inconsiderate parking:
- Vehicles parked too close to or behind driveways
- Parking against the flow of traffic
- Blocking visibility near corners
- Disregarding orange cones placed to prevent illegal parking
Both neighbors we spoke with indicated they will begin calling the police if this continues, which could result in tickets or towing.
Please adhere to all signage in the parking lot and on surrounding streets. If you’re unfamiliar with the rules, now is a great time to learn them to help us maintain positive relationships with our neighbors.
A few key reminders:
- In the parking lot, do not park large vehicles (minivans, SUVs, trucks) in COMPACT CAR ONLY spaces along the fence.
- Do not block driveways – stay at least 3 feet clear on either side.
- Do not park directly behind driveways.
- Do not park on sidewalks or the levee.
- Park in the direction of traffic.
- Avoid parking too close to corners, as it may obstruct visibility or traffic flow.
Violating any of these rules may result in being ticketed or towed.
Let’s all do our part to keep the neighborhood safe and respectful—we hope to see you soon (parked legally too!)
Early Season Schedule
We will be open Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays only until Friday, May 23rd, when our full summer schedule begins.
Summer 2025 Hours (Starting May 23):
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Wednesday & Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Cove Grill & Splash Bar
The Cove Grill and Splash Bar will operate just as it did last year. Here are a few reminders about tabs and payments:
- We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Apple Pay. (Venmo is not accepted at the grill or bar.)
- You may load funds onto your account at the bar or grill to allow quick and convenient purchasing.
- This setup also allows your children to order food and drinks without a parent present.
- A $50 minimum is required to start a tab.
- Please note: staff are not responsible for monitoring children’s spending.
- There is a $10 minimum for card transactions.
- A 20% gratuity will be added to any open tabs left after last call.
