2025 Swim Team Practice Schedule 


Practice the week of May 19th – May 22nd will be after school, age group times listed below for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

*NO PRACTICE ON TUESDAY 20TH*

4:30 – 5:00      6 and under boys only

5:00 – 5:30        6 and under girls only

5:30 – 6:00     7, 8, 9,  (New Swimmers Only!)

5:30 – 6:00      10, 11, 12 year-olds (New Swimmers Only!)

Practice the week of May 27th – May 30th will be in the morning, age group times listed below:

*NO PRACTICE ON MONDAY THE 26TH DUE TO MEMORIAL DAY*

8:00 – 8:45      6 and unders

8:45 – 9:30        7, 8, 9, 10 year-olds

9:30 – 10:15     11 and older

Regular Summer Morning Practice will start Monday June 2nd! Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday! Times listed below:

8:00 – 8:30     Any swimmer that attends camp away from Lakeside

8:30 – 9:15      6 and under

9:15 – 10:00    7, 8, 9 and 10 year-olds

10:00 – 10:45   11 and older


 

2025 Swim Team Clinics

We will have Swim Clinics again this summer on Saturday Mornings in June. Each Clinic will focus on a different swimming aspect. Registration will open on Friday May 31st, space is limited so sign up early. Registration is not complete for the clinics until payment is received, $20 per child per clinic – cash or check. Payment can be made in the Office. 

Saturday June 7th 

Freestyle or Backstroke

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. 6 Years and Under – Stroke* and Starts

9:35 a.m. – 10:35 a.m. 7 Years and Over – Stroke* and Starts (Turns for 9 & Up)

Saturday June 14th

Backstroke or Breaststroke

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. 6 Years and Under – Backstroke Only and Starts

9:35 a.m. – 10:35 a.m. 7 Years and Over – Stroke* and Starts (Turns for 9 & Up)

Saturday June 21st

Breaststroke or Butterfly

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. 8 Years and Under – Stroke* and Starts (6 and Under must be proficient in backstroke and freestyle before trying breaststroke and butterfly)

9:35 a.m. – 10:35 a.m. 9 Years and Over – Stroke*, Starts, and Turns

*You may choose one stroke, if coaches believe first stroke is achieved and time permits the swimmer can work on alternate stroke offered that day.*
