Swim Team Information  Lakeside Lasers Swim Team       Registration Swim team registration will be held on Tuesday, April 20th at 7:00PM.  Those who are unable to attend this meeting will be able to register after practice beginning Tuesday, May 17th. The registration fee is $35 for the first family member, $65 for 2 or more swimmers from one family. Registrations are due by May 30th. A $15 late fee will apply to all those who register after May 30th. The Meet schedule is below and ALL parents are expected to volunteer their time assisting at the Meets, both at home and away.  Parents are to commit to working four or more of the seven Meets. Swim Practice Practice is essential for improvement.  The schedule is as follows: May Swim Practice Schedule: Starting May 17th       Monday – Thursday                4:00 PM                8 years and under           4:30 PM                9 – 12 year olds           5:15 PM                 13 years and older Summer Practice Schedule Begins Tuesday June 1st: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings           8:00 – 8:30 am      open to anyone attending summer camps or who cannot make their regular practice           8:30 – 9:00 am      6 – 8 year olds           9:00 – 9:45 am      9 – 12 year olds 9:45 – 11:00 am      13 and older Time Trials We will have the first swim meet on Saturday, May 29th at 9:00a.m.  This meet will allow all swimmers to compete in all events.  This will give the swimmers the opportunity to get rid of the “first meet jitters” and will give the coaches a good look at all the swimmers in all the events.  The meet will be run as an official JCCA meet with starters, timers, pickers and table workers.  Parents please plan to work the meet.
