Pool Rules
The pool may not be used by any person who has
a communicable disease, open sores, or any other condition considered
dangerous to the health and safety of others. The following
are forbidden in the main pool, wading pool, and pool deck areas:
1. The Lifeguards on duty have the authority
to remove anyone at anytime from the main or baby pools because
of inappropriate behavior.
2. NO DIVING IN THE SHALLOW END.
3. No Goggles to be worn while diving off the diving board.
4. No floating devices of any kind allowed in the deep end of
the pool
5. Floating devices including life jackets, or swim aids are
allowed in the shallow end of the pool only.
6. Glass in any form, except spectacles and sunglasses.
7. Food and refreshments on pool deck.
8. Boisterous or rough play in the pool area.
9. Small balls, automobile inner tubes, inflatable rafts, or
any object deemed objectionable or dangerous by pool personnel
in the pool area.
10. Running on the pool deck or in the shower rooms.
11. Diapered babies in either the main pool or the wading pool
– babies wearing special swim diapers will be allowed in the
pool.
12. Play pens on pool deck.
13. Alcoholic beverages in the pool at anytime.
14. Smoking is not allowed in the pool or on the pool deck.
15. Only one person is permitted on the diving board at a time
and no excessive bouncing on the board is permitted.
16. Children under the age of ten (10), not sanctioned for swimming
in the adult pool by a lifeguard, must be accompanied by an
adult or guardian (fifteen (15) years of age or older).
17. During break, children are not allowed to have any part
of their body in or near the pool. The Lifeguards will strictly
enforce this rule.
