Dive Team News

Dear Lakeside Diving Team Parents,

          I am looking forward to the start of our diving season. Registration will be held on April 20th at 7:00 pm. We will also accept registrations on May 15th at the first practice. We need divers for every age group. Boys and girls under the age of 18 are eligible to dive in our JCCA program. If your child can swim from the diving board to the ladder in the deep end, they can join the diving team (there is no minimum age). The basic rules for JCCA Diving and the meet and practice schedules will be available on the Lakeside CC website and at practice. Practices will be on Wednesday at 5:30, Thursday at 5:30, and Saturday at 10:00. Our first meet will be held in the beginning of June. Practices will start on Saturday, May 15th at 10:00. A practice schedule will be posted in the Lakeside office. The Meet of Champions will be held on Friday, July 23rd. All duel meets will be held on Monday nights at 6:30 pm. Please arrive no later than 6:00 for home meets and 5:00 for away meets. For all away meets, we will practice at the opposing club for 1 hour prior to the meet. The best way to learn about diving is to come watch our team practice. I am always available after practices if you have any questions.
