Camp Lakeside Country Club Summer Camp Summer is right around the corner, which means it is time to start thinking about what to do with the kids.  Lakeside Country Club will have camp again this summer for the eighth year.  Camp will be available beginning Tuesday, June 1st until Friday, August 13th.  Swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, exercise, group games, movie day, and one special fun day each week, are some of the many activities that campers will be enjoying.  We welcome two new adult directors who will be overseeing all counselors and activities during the summer.  This year we are bringing in a new program for our campers.  CATZ (Completely Active Training Zone) is a unique youth fitness program that engages children to improve their physical fitness, improve their self discipline, gain confidence, enhance peer acceptance, promote their physical/mental well being and enjoy exercise.  A Physical Therapist and a Strength coach in California designed this program over ten years ago.   Southshore Physical Therapy, LLC is a local licensed CATZ provider.  Lakeside Country Club has partnered with Southshore Physical Therapy, LLC to provide a weekly CATZ Youth Fitness Program during the 2010 Summer Camp.  The goal is to give the campers the opportunity to participate in moderate-to-vigorous exercise for approximately one hour per day, two days per week.  The Board feels that these additions will enhance our Camp and be loads of fun for the campers. 4 year olds* through 6th graders are welcome and guests of members are also invited to attend. Registration is $40.00.            (*Must be 4 by May 1, 2010) Camp hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm Before and after care is available from 7:45am – 5:30pm for $35 per week.
